Iona hh are seen through a lot of peoples eyes as being the most respected legal high site on the web and the general opinion for customer service is your the best, what I want to know is although your happy to admit u don't want any of the competition to know what the formula is for your products eg blue e to stop them marketing their own rival products, don't u think that hh are no better than any of the dodgy vendors who don't disclose their chems , let's face it whatever is in the blue e even if it makes u feel good the fact is its an unknown chemical to the public an to hh you've no idea what the long term effects are...

This is not a personal rant against hh company id just like to see some honesty from a company which like I say has a good rep in many peoples eyes...

Long term or even the short term affects for some could pose a risk if someone is sensitive to the contents ingredients. Not disclosing contents is merely a health risk, if someone has a bad reaction and points the finger then the media would have a field day, whilst having information about the contents allows for research discussion and harm reduction. Just pure common sense.

Bang on there lolcat , I think its a little hypocritical let's just say to in a round about way suggest rival sites have inferior product when your own company are being very coy about what's in it..

I'd take a guess too by disclosing the active chem would allow the gov to get to work on it and look at its effects...

In an ideal world our gov would be more forward thinking and likewise the chemists who come up with new variants which would allow us all make an informed choice on what we want to consume knowing of potential implications e% alcohol and tobacco

Never will happen though

Very good point, yet it seems with many legal highs now it is the government reports that actually inform us of the contents of some highs.

I think the lack of information is the one thing has has held me back in trying most highs, leading me to stick with RC's and ethnobotanicals. I can avoid some, like those containing cola vera for which I'm intolerant leaving me feeling unwell, but others are just a gamble.

It's a sad state when we can't just enjoy a recreational substance of our choice without closed doors, just leaves us worse off that when they're open and legal.

Deffo mate, never will happen unless it becomes law though ...
David nutt has the right idea suggesting any new product or chem released onto the market should be instantly class d which would allow over 18's access to them in a controlled manner while the boffins work out the benefits and safety implications ...

David Nutt and Howard Marks would have been great together. The Class D system is the most sensible approach, and I recall when Howard had proposed pill testing machines be placed in clubs across the country potentially reducing harm. There are so many flaws in outright criminalisation that it's hard to grasp how it benefits anyone at all.

You seem like a decent and sensible enough fella based on the post's I've read and yes, it would be nice to know exactly what is in the products such as Blu-E but pure common sense?

With all due respect mate, pure common sense would be to not purchase and consume a product from someone who openly refuse's to disclose the content's.

It's mine/yours/each individual's own personal choice to take these things based on only the knowledge we have at hand and if we have a bad reaction to a product then it's mine/yours/each individual's own personal fault.

Yes the media would have a field day but would it really be HH's fault? Nobody is putting a gun to our head and we simply have to take responsibility for what we put inside our own body.

If you're not comfortable taking something without knowing exactly what is in it then don't take it, simple isn't it? Smile

I'll put it this way. If you had a nut allergy and the product you purchased did not warn of nut content, you have a bad reaction. Is it your fault for purchasing it even after attempting to enquire as to the ingredients, or the companies fault for not disclosing the ingredients?

I agree that it is ones own responsibility and choice when purchasing and consuming any unlabelled product, but the sensible option would be to be given the opportunity to purchase and consume substances that have listed ingredients whereby we can perform our own risk assessment beforehand.

I do agree with ya matey, it's just an inconvenience and a gamble when trying these things. Plus I can't add it to the list of my annual consumed chemicals xD

The nut allergy thing is a ridiculous comparison to make and I'm sure you know that mate, we're not popping down to Tesco to do our weekly shop! Big Smile

It would be great to know everything that's in these products and perform our own 'risk assessment' like you say but like I said - if you ain't comfortable not knowing then simply don't take it.

Not sure if that's aimed at me or lolcat mate, if me my answer for that is I research everything I've taken bar yrs ago when I was young an reckless so in that respect I don't take anything which I know nothing about ...

Your right it is our choice to consume a random chem or not but maybe just maybe a little more transparency from the seller/manufacturer is needed so for people like me can decide if that is for him it not, put it another way if I know what's in it and I think it won't harm me my curiosity will probably want me to try it
