I was finally able to try some Doves recently, and after years of looking for (and trying) MDMA substitutes, I have found the one that floats my boat the best. To get to the point: LU Doves are simply the best non-illegal pill I have ever ingested. Nothing I've ever tried outside of the illegal scene even comes close.
Super E, Cherries, EX1, Loved Up, Druid's Fantasy (admittedly, not all MDMA subs) all pale in comparison to the Dove.
The fiance split a pill (no gelatin caps!!) on a semi-full stomach, and the come up was far faster than the Retro line, and not nearly as dirty feeling once the buzz hits you properly. Also, compared to the smoking products, it's much easier to hide the fact that you are flying high, as you aren't as confused as you can be when you are stoned.
Unlike every other pill I've had from the legals-scene, the Dove's effects hit me before ever trying to smoke - however smoking (a mostly new PULSE mix) intensified the effects amazingly. Tactile, taste, visual and aural sensations were all increased just like the real thing. There is a noted euphoria, however it's not quite to the level that I'm used to with the 'real thing.'
That having been said, I will (and have already) do it again.
Oh, sex while on doves+smoking is divine. And I mean that in it's original sense
